Studio support for visual artists

Your practice,
without limits.

We are a global team of visual art professionals offering tailored studio management, exhibition support and artist mentoring — so you can focus entirely on your work.

The professional studio team artists deserve

Most artists work alone — managing emails, chasing invoices, coordinating logistics, and still finding the energy to create. We change that.

Expand Your Studio becomes the team behind your practice. We work with both established and emerging visual artists anywhere in the world, building a relationship as close to having your own studio — without the overhead.

Our model is flexible: scale up for a large exhibition, scale down between projects. You pay for what you need, when you need it.

Common questions about our services

What is studio management for artists? +

Studio management involves handling the day-to-day operational tasks of an artist's practice — communications, relationship management, scheduling, travel coordination and administrative support — so the artist can focus entirely on making work. Think of it as having a dedicated professional team behind your practice, without the cost of a full-time hire.

Do I need to be an established artist to work with you? +

Not at all. We work with both established and emerging visual artists. Our services are flexible and scale to fit any stage of your career — from early-career mentoring and portfolio development, to full studio management for internationally active artists handling multiple exhibitions simultaneously.

How does the artist mentoring program work? +

It starts with a free introductory call — no commitment required. We then conduct a portfolio assessment and develop a personalised career strategy together. Ongoing support includes regular sessions, curatorial feedback on new work, and personalised updates on grants, residencies and exhibition opportunities. What makes our program unique is that it combines this intellectual engagement with our hands-on studio services.

I already have a gallery. Do I still need a studio team? +

Yes — a gallery and a studio team serve different roles. A gallery focuses on sales and market positioning. A studio team manages production, applications, image archives, press for shows outside your gallery, and relationships with institutions and curators. We work alongside galleries, not instead of them. Many of our clients have gallery representation and still rely on us for everything the gallery doesn't cover.

Where are you based and do you work internationally? +

We have offices in Belgium and Italy, and a global network of affiliates across Europe, the Americas and Asia. We offer our full range of services to artists anywhere in the world — distance is not a barrier to a productive working relationship.
